Date Completed – June 2022

The challenge

Niger Delta Exploration and Production Plc, NDEP wanted to improve its messaging and design frameworks for their 2021 annual report. The group has multiple trading entities, each with its story to tell. Our challenge was to bring these stories together under one theme making significant improvements from previous years.

The solution

We developed a framework for clear positioning by interviewing senior executives across the group. We heard first-hand the goals of respective units and their review of the year, ensuring we had an authentic and honest picture.  We selected one of our specialist finance writers who has many years of experience in annual report writing for the project. Hence, we were able to quickly interpret and make clear dense information from all the processes, numbers and results across the entire group.

We optimized the brand identity using bold inflects of its subsidiary identities. Our design further fleshed out new iconography, infographics and custom skins built for repurposing.

The result

We have been retained to work on the Company’s annual report for future years with prospective rebranding projects along the way. We have established a process that is seamless and, key to success.
